Meet your guide near Rajiv Chowk metro station in central Delhi and set off to discover the street food of the Indian capital.
Explore bustling Old Delhi and hear about its snack flavors, traditions and history of the walled city. Stop by another stand to try local staples. Work up an appetite because the food you will be in for dinner, snacks and drinks!
See specialties such as soft paraflat flatbread and spiced aloo chaat potatoes and learn about their historic roots. Taste some sweet specialties along with delicious treats. Try the super-sweet, fried jalebis, sip on lassi (frothy, yogurt drink), and enjoy local rice pudding and bread and butter pudding.
Most of the food is vegetarian, but if you're a meat eater, choose to savor the delicious Indian-style fried chicken. Vegetarians, don't worry. At this point, you are free to explore the surrounding Matia Mahal district.
Observe local life and Delhi's illuminated landmarks, and hop over food hotspots on a bicycle rickshaw on foot. On route, you'll see the impressive Jama Masjid Mosque and explore Asia's largest spice bazaar.
