Details

1Ganges River

Get picked up from your hotel at 5:30 AM and start your day with a boat ride on the Ganges to watch the sunrise. Boating on the Ganges to watch the sunrise is a major tourist attraction in Varanasi. You can see how Hindus live on the banks of the Ganges. Varanasi has a unique combination of physical, metaphysical and supernatural elements. According to Hindu mythology, Varanasi ultimately liberates the soul from the human body. Complementing the concept of God is the Ganges Steps at Varanasi. After boarding the boat, take a short walk to Varanasi's oldest district, famous for its narrow streets. This walk will take you to the famous food street, perfume market and other unusual sights. 4 hours • Includes entrance ticket.

2Sarnath

After breakfast I will go to Sarnus. Varanasi Sarnath is the place the Buddha chose to give his first sermon. As such, Sarnath is one of the most worshiped places by Buddhists. In addition to Buddhism, Saanath is also associated with Jainism. Sarnath has many Buddhist monuments and buildings. Important Buddhist monuments in Sarnath include the Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa and monasteries and temples of various Buddhist denominations from Japan, China, Thailand and Burma.

3Banaras Ghats

Then drive to the riverbank and enter one of the oldest streets for a walking tour. A guided walking tour through Varanasi's old streets and millennia-old alleys will leave you spellbound by the sacred temples. Step into the old alleys and experience the sacred and oldest living culture of this ancient city. A walk full of surprises at every step provides a wealth of insight and sightseeing. You can learn more by participating in this. Ask your Varanasi guide questions to learn more about each location on your walking tour. This Varanasi walk takes place on the north side of the Ghats and offers a genuine insight into Varanasi. This Read more 2 hours • Includes admission ticket.

4 Ganga Aarti

In the late evening, drive to the banks of the Ganges and board a private boat to witness the cremation after the Aarti ceremony. Aarti, sometimes spelled arathi, is a Hindu religious ceremony in which one or more deities are lit. Aarti can also refer to the devotional song to the gods sung during the offering of the lamp. Indian Hindus worship the river Ganges as a goddess. Every night in Varanasi, Aarti is performed at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. This can be seen from the stairs or from the boat. It is a spectacular spectacle of bells, drums, cymbals, and Sanskrit mantras that resonate beautifully in a religious ceremony performed by a few priests, following a very rigorous procedure. Rivers are also purified by petals. Afterwards, return to your hotel, where the service ends. 3 hours • Includes entrance ticket.
